Promatis Informatik's INCOME product provides you with a versatile method and a set of user-oriented tools for optimizing business processes.

Nowadays most branches view the optimization of business processes as the key to their survival in the marketplace.

INCOME is initially used to create clearly arranged graphical models of business processes. All aspects which are relevant to the optimization will be noted: activities, business rules, organizational structures, resources and information objects.

The business process is investigated by running a simulation and then refined step by step. Evaluation tools provide qualitative assessments and allow different models to be compared. Features of the simulation are the graphical animation and the possibility to process real-world data during simulation runs. The simulation component is implemented in IF/Prolog and Oracle.

For the implementation of business processes the user has access to a whole range of options such as transferring the process models to Workflow Management Systems and CASE tools or integrating standard software packages.
