| NTT Communication Science Laboratories licensed MINERVA for research
in intelligent distributed agents.
"We will use MINERVA to implement problem solving components
to use with JADE Agents." said Jun-ichi Akahani, Senior Research Scientist
of NTT Corporation.
JADE, Java Agent Development Framework, is designed to help implementation of multi-agent systems through a
middle-ware that claims to comply with the FIPA specifications by
The Foundation for Intelligent Physical Agents.
For early technology demonstration, NTT researchers plan to use
MINERVA in the next phase of the Digital City Project sponsored by the
Japan Science and Technology Foundation (JST).
