MINERVA is IF Computer's new Java based implementation of Prolog. It has
been especially designed for use in the internet, providing the full power
of ISO-Prolog inside your Java enabled web browser.
MINERVA can be used to generate both Applets and Applications; which may
execute on the client side, inside the browser and on the server side.
MINERVA is easily embedded into Java applications and Java procedures are
easily incorporated into MINERVA code.

For example, a life insurance firm may wish to provide detailed product
knowledge to its clients via the internet. Clients benefit by being able to
